What does #sparkle mean?
Well to us it means we hope to make every dancer who walks through our doors feel like they sparkle inside and out!
Kids go through all kinds of phases and stages, ups and downs. Sometimes the world around them can feel like it’s caving in. There’s a lot of pressure for teens, pre-teens, elementary kids - even pre-schoolers have more pressure to do and learn more at an earlier age. While life moves fast (and thanks to Ferris Bueller we don’t want to miss it!) kids self-esteem doesn’t always move as fast.
My 6 year old has a hard time with reading – and he knows it. It’s really frustrating for him. I want him to feel accomplished when he reads a sentence by himself. I really celebrate that moment with him because it’s like climbing a mounting for him! When we get to reading a page by ourselves we’ll celebrate that too. In the meantime, this challenge by challenge praise will hopefully fill his bucket of confidence so he knows he CAN do hard things.
At Jeanne’s, our teachers truly see the strength in each dancer and want to celebrate success with every one of them! Whether it’s figuring out how to do a Maxi Ford and get all the sounds just right or mastering a triple pirouette, we’ll be right there cheering you on. Pretty soon, that bucket of confidence will be overflowing and the #sparkle on their face will be brighter than ever!
Come #sparkle with us!

Miss Amy: I love teaching kids and watching that "A-ha!" moment happen when all the dots connect and the light bulb goes on! There's nothing better!
