Kids are growing up too fast these days. Toddlers know how to work smart phones. Pre-schoolers can work a computer mouse with pretty accurate results. Pre-teens and teens are so connected to the outside world through technology they’re not connected to the world that surrounds them. What happened to the days of playing outside all day and not coming home until dinner time?
I’ve decided that for me, there’s a balancing act that’s required. Yes, I want my kids to be challenged in their ability to think critically and reason. I want them pushed academically so they can contribute to society. But I also want them to be kids. I want them to feel the joy and innocence of childhood when wonder and amazement is all around them in the things they discover.
At Jeanne’s, we cherish childhood for everyone. Whether you’re 3 or 103 we’re all young at heart! While we challenge kids to work hard and be their best, we whole-heartedly recognize that kids are kids and the innocence they bring to our dance rooms is pure gold!

Miss Amy: I love teaching kids and watching that "A-ha!" moment happen when all the dots connect and the light bulb goes on! There's nothing better!
