My youngest is going off to Kindergarten – and I’m torn inside. I’m jumping up and down doing a happy dance with all the free time I’ll have. And I’m huddled in a corner because my baby, my buddy for every errand, my daily lunch date is going to school. I even had the INSANE thought to hold him back just so I could keep him home one more year. I know. I’m crazy.
As hard as it will be to let him go, I know he’s ready. He’s had a little bit of a hard start having some speech issues. But we looked for ways to give him a head start so he would be ready for this big day!
One of the things we did was put him into the Mini Poppers and Tuff N Tumble classes at Jeanne’s. These classes were perfect for him to practice listening to a teacher, following directions, waiting his turn, making friends and interacting with peers. I’ve seen a huge amount of growth occur this past year and a large part of his success can be attributed to these classes. It’s a great environment where kids feel loved, have fun, learn through music and get to move! It’s total magic. And while I’m not ready for him to start Kindergarten, he totally is!

Miss Amy: I love teaching kids and watching that "A-ha!" moment happen when all the dots connect and the light bulb goes on! There's nothing better!
