Teamwork, connection and good sportsmanship are essential qualities to develop in order to become a successful adult. But how do you teach a 5 year old to be a “team player?” This is something we’re working on in our house – every day it seems! With 5 boys there’s a lot of competitiveness to be right, to get attention, to win, to be first. You name it and boys will compete about it! So in trying to inspire them to work together and support each other as a team, we’ve focused on 3 ideas.
We all feel disappointed when we lose. It stinks. But with the right attitude you can turn that stinky moment into motivation to learn more, strategize better, and work harder so next time you end up on the other side of the hand shake!
At Jeanne’s, we want to instill a sense of teamwork and connection in every class. Babies as young as 2 years old take turns and help clean up. Adults cheer each other as they master new skills. No matter your age, we’re all rooting for YOU! See the difference teamwork and #connection makes at Jeanne’s!

Miss Amy: I love teaching kids and watching that "A-ha!" moment happen when all the dots connect and the light bulb goes on! There's nothing better!
